The apartment block is a small 10-unit building in a quiet neighborhood where neighbors get to know each other and take care of each other. The unit is a corner unit with tall, southeast-facing windows, so the unit gets good light all day.
The unit... is well built, with walls made of concrete, so it's soundproof, and it is well sealed, so pests are not an issue in or around the building. The building is surrounded by a small garden that is kept up by the residents, and the community is very safe and walkable (I regularly walk and run in the afternoons and evenings by myself). It's also less than a block away from an ART 55 bus stop and close to a small shopping street with a pastry shop, toy store, Starbucks, and Chipotle, as well as a 5-minute walk from a Walgreens, CVS, Compass Coffee, and neighborhood bar.
