We're looking to rent out a gorgeous bedroom in our three-story row house, located in trendy/community-oriented Bloomingdale. The room is $1244/month + shared utilities available immediately. Please read all the details and contact us if interested!

House: The house sits on a quiet tree-lined street in Shaw/Bloomingdale. It has been recently renovated and painted and is equipped with all new appliances. The first floor features a large open living room and dining room, a stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, a half bath, and the front porch and back deck for enjoying the morning and afternoon sun. The back deck gets lovely light for vegetable and herb gardening. On the second floor are two bedrooms (both occupied by your new housemates), along with a guest bedroom/office for working, and a full bathroom to share. The basement houses our third housemate, a full bath, and laundry. The house has two Fios routers to ensure high-speed internet throughout the house. There are many windows throughout the house which makes the living space pleasantly bright. Common space is currently furnished but there’s space available for incoming furniture.

Parking/Garden plot: There is a gated, off-street parking spot in the backyard. The house has a sought-after, private 4x8ft garden plot in LeDroit Park Community Garden across the street.

Housemates: You will share the house with two professional women in their late twenties. Both have busy schedules and are respectful of communal space and each other’s privacy. We’re generally low-key, especially during the week, but enjoy throwing dinner parties, get-togethers with friends, etc. We often get outdoors and love to cook and garden.

You: We’re looking for someone friendly, non-smoking, and equally respectful and tidy. No pets (sorry!) Women only; LGBTQIA+ friendly.

Neighborhood: We're surrounded by local eateries and bars! Just an 8-minute walk to Showtime, Boundary Stone, Red Hen, Bacio’s Pizzeria, and Tyber Creek Wine Bar. A few blocks more, and you’ll find DCity Smokehouse, Right Proper, Creative Grounds, and Big Bear Cafe. The Sunday farmer's market is a 10-minute walk. Whole Foods is less than 10 minutes and Giant is not far either.
