The apartment has a private entry and separate foyer door for additional security. Tenant enjoys use of secure, fenced-in back yard. Back yard is shared with the building owner, who resides upstairs. Situated on a quiet side street just two short blocks from Wisconsin Avenue (walking score 98), the apartment is in walking distance to many shops and stores, including Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Safeway, Ace Hardware, gym/athletic facilities (Georgetown Yates Field House, Corepower Yoga, Gold's gym), salons, and metrobus routes. The apartment is 3/4 mile from the shops on M Street and about a 5 minute walk to the Georgetown University campus. For car owners, there is ample street parking with a resident zone 2 parking permit (available from the DMV for residents).
Tenant pays for electricity (separately metered for the apartment and can be billed directly to tenant), and 1/2 of the monthly water and WiFi bills. This apartment does not have gas utilities.
Lease is contingent on a tenant application and background/credit check. Lease terms 12 months. One month's rent due as security deposit at lease signing in addition to the first month's rent.
