1-2 bedrooms available ~15m from GULC/McCourt

Bedroom sublease available Aug 15 to January 5.
Rent will be $1350, excluding utilities.
The landlord will likely request a background check (I can cover this cost), and a $1350 security deposit will be required.

Bright, sunny, east-facing master...
bedroom with hardwood floors in a shared four-bedroom townhouse tucked between Shaw and NoMa.
Bedroom is furnished and on the second floor. Will be cleaned out before move-in. It has a good desk setup, plenty of storage space, and a private bathroom.
The townhouse has central AC, washer/dryer, good kitchen, a little backyard patio, and plenty of pantry space.

The house is a in a generally quiet, residential neighborhood--about a block away from Big Bear Café and a weekly farmer’s market.
Lots of street parking in the area and good metro access: 12-15m walk to the green line U Street, yellow line Mt Vernon Square, and red line NoMa/Gallaudet stops.
For other grad students: 15m walk to Georgetown Law School/McCourt School of Public Policy.

I am subletting this room while I leave Washington to wrap up my last semester of grad school. Current roommates are a co-ed group of Georgetown-affiliated law students and recent graduates in their late 20s. They’re a friendly, interesting, international set of folks, and we’re looking for someone who will be conscientious and thoughtful of others.

Please reach out if you think you'd be a good fit!
